Sad News: Dr. R. S. Prasad, Head of our Department as well as of Electronics and IT had a terrible accident recently which he could not survive. I really don't know what to say. It is not good for PEC. I find it very difficult to picturize things at PEC without him. It will not be possible to find another person to take up the responsibilities that he was handling all by himself. PEC has lost a lot. < Copied from Old site. Need to make some changes to this > I was a student at Punjab Engineering College, Chandigarh, India. It is one of the best technical institutes of North India. I am proud to be from this college which is popular as the pride of Chandigarh. Of course admission to this college is through entrance examination. Check out my College's WebSite. My college is known for its absolute coolness. Especially my department. Computer Science and Engineering Department is max. cool. We guys spend most of our time in the lab besides the lectures. Teachers are great. Many of the teachers are youngsters. Tough i must admit the we don't have many goooood teachers in our department what all those we have put in max. effort to serve us the best. Among the faculty members we have Mr. Sanjeev Sofat: One person i really appreciate for is patience while listening to our problems Mr. B. S. Chabbra: Despite of his cryptic and rigid actions he is one of the most experienced teachers we have and have taught us some of my favourite courses - Microprocessors and Operating Systems. Mr. Trilok Chand: My personal favourite for his very cool attitude and of course excellent notes. Iu sure would love to have him as my supervisor during my Major and Minor Projects. Mr. Shailender Singh: What a student need max. from is teachers is motivation and enthusiasm to work. This he is brillant at that. Miss. Divya Bansal: Our new Enthu-Machine as she is popularly known. One of the most interactive teachers i have ever seen. And i must mention the effort she puts in to get ultra good notes for us. Miss. Aman Reen: She is really very friendly. Actually she is one of our super seniors and knows how thing goes in this college and department. Cool. She knows how and where to extract fun out of life. Miss. Preeti Agarwal: Personally I don't understand her. Mr. Naveen: Now. We know he is from IIT and we know he is talented. But i dont understand why does he not get a bit mroe friendly. He is the Mr. No Nonsense guy among the new teachers in the department. But Really gives good notes. One heck of a chapter reduced to 2 pages. Flat. Besides we have 3 more new teachers in our department. They are not teaching us at present. And i dont know them much. But the guys are friendly. Sorry to state that i dont know their names. I hope u people dont mid. Thakur Hum ka maffi deido. Now our department lab is a great resource to us. Internet faciltiy is bloddy damn required. My college has one big rule: Nothing is Compulsory. Juniors ask me : sir is it compulsory to attend NSS camp and i say : Chill out fellows Nothing is Compualsory in thi college. You do < jo dil chatha hai >. Let your heart lead you. And they say i m crazy and go away. No not all. My College gives you all possible ways to develop our personality. Clubs, Societies, Organization, <Secrecy>, etc. I used to be very really shy and introvert before i came to this college. Now i am a new man. My Activites: Facilities at College: Ok thats it about the college. Ofcourse you can contact me for more. And information reagarding admissions etc. Just mail me anytime. |
